El pasado sábado 9 tuvo lugar en la Facultad de Ciencias de la UCA (Universidad de Cádiz) el First Lego League, en el cual, chicos y chicas de entre 10 y 16 años debían presentar soluciones robóticas innovadoras a la problemática que se planteó: investigar los obstáculos del día a día de los sénior para mejorar su calidad de vida. Este evento contó con la ayuda de casi 100 voluntarios y la colaboración de muchas entidades colaboradoras, entre ellas, CARBURES.
The First Lego League took place last Saturday 9th at the Science Faculty of the UCA (Cadiz University), where boys and girls from 10 to 16 years old had to present innovative robotic solutions to the problem suggested: to investigate the daily obstacles that seniors have in order to improve their quality life. This event counted on almost 100 voluntaries and the collaboration of several collaborative entities, CARBURES among them.

Esta experiencia que tuvieron los jóvenes de desarrollo, investigación y puesta en práctica les sirvió para descubrir que es mucho más útil la sencillez que la complejidad en la solución de problemas, aprendieron a investigar y a programar, realizaron entrevistas, se planificaron, sacaron conclusiones con la información recopilada, trabajaron en equipo y también les sirvió para conocerse más entre ellos y reforzar sus relaciones de amistad.
This experience that adolescent had of development, investigation and putting into practice, helped them to discover that is more useful simplicity than complexity in the solutions of problems. They learnt to investigate and program, realized interviews, planned, obtained conclusions from the compile information, worked in teams, and also this experience helped them to get to know each other better and strengthen their friendship relations.

Tras cinco horas de exposiciones, entrenamientos y competiciones, se realizó la entrega de premios, donde Javier Moreno, nuestro Director General, entregó el premio al Proyecto Científico que lo ganó Salle Bartolo, y los ganadores del evento fueron los del equipo de La Arboleda. El simple hecho de poder ver el entusiasmo, las ganas y la ilusión de los jóvenes fue impresionante, todo el trabajo que hicieron y sus sonrisas cuando explicaban totalmente convencidos que podían ayudar a sus sénior de esa manera.
After five hours of expositions, training and competitions, the award presentation was realized. Javier Moreno, our Business General Manager, gave the Science Project award to the Salle Bartolo, and the winners were La Arboleda team. The simple fact of seeing the enthusiasm, the desire, and the excitement of the young was astonishing; all the work that they have done, and their smiles when they were explaining totally convinced of their capacity to help the seniors in their daily problems.
