Carbures prepares to keep growing

We close the circle of the aeronautical industrial process with the acquisition of the BR25, a technology that allows us to tenfold our industrial cadence on the last leg of the manufacturing of aircraft parts in composites. Thus, we consolidated our positioning as the leaders of the industry in Spain and expand our production capacity to meet our customers’ increasing demand.

Designed by EPMM, the BR25 technology allows us to accelerate in the linear axes of up to 3m/s² and load speed of up to 70m/min. This is crucial for us as it allows us to increase our production to the ramp up of the giant aircraft manufacturers, as expected for this year.

Let us remind that the aircraft industry embraces composite materials as a key solution to improve the efficiency of airplanes by reducing its weight. Therefore, industry giants such as Airbus, have increased the average percentage of composite parts on planes, figure that has grown from five percent ten years ago to a current one of over 50 percent. The BR25 allows us to implement a high-cadence manufacturing process, producing parts in a larger volume and faster.

This enables us to grow along with our partners and customers and, consequently, increase our turnover and other financial figures. “The BR25 strengthens our strategy to keep growing organically. With it we provide full coverage to our customers and positions ourselves at the forefront of the industry in Spain, in its aeronautical Center and South poles, and probably in Europe,” our CEO, José María Tarragó, says.
