Carbures - AIRTIFICIAL supports V Race against Cancer

Carbures - AIRTIFICIAL collaborates with the AECC that organizes, as it has done in previous years, the V Race against Cancer in Cádiz, with the motto "Cádiz en marcha". It will be this Sunday, October 28th and the start will take place at 10.30am from the Santa María del Mar Beach. The total route has 7 kilometers that can be done running or walking. The most important thing in this case is to participate and collaborate.

Registration to participate is 10 € and can be done online at the website www.dorsalchip.es or in person at the province headquarters of the AECC (Brunete, 4, Cádiz), and in the sports department of El Corte Ingles in Cádiz and San Fernando. From Carbures, we encourage everyone to participate in this special race, regardless of where they live.

Carbures and Inypsa approved their merge

The general meetings of shareholders of Carbures and Inypsa approved the merger process, giving rise to AIRTIFICIAL, a large artificial intelligence technology company specialized in collaborative robotics, in sensorized structures and applied engineering that operates in the aeronautical, robotics, automotive and civil works sector.


In the Board of Inypsa, it has been approved to increase the board of directors from the 7 current members to the 17 that it will have. Another point  was the capital increase of up to 65.9 million, which will be issued up to a maximum of 481,379,600 new shares, with the same rights as the previous ones, intended to be attributed to shareholders of Carbures in exchange for their securities, so that the shareholding in the new company, AIRTIFICIAL, is parity. At the last point of the day, the Board of Inypsa approved the modification of its corporate name so that, when the merger becomes effective, it is renamed Airtificial Intelligence Structures SA.

AIRTIFICIAL presents the first real size Hyperloop capsule (II)

Earlier this week, we published a video in which, in just over a minute, you could experience the complete assembly process of the first full-size Hyperloop capsule that we have manufactured from AIRTIFICIAL. On this occasion, we present here a video summary of what was the world event that took place last October 2nd at the factory that the company has in El Puerto de Santa Maria (Cádiz - Spain), and where the last phase occurred of the manufacture of the capsule: the assembly.

This event, which was attended by Susana Díaz, President of the Government of Andalucía, clients, executives and board directors of Hyperloop, authorities, counted with several interventions that offered an overview of how the idea was conceived from the beginning of Hyperloop TT and how it was achieved until the materialization of said design. For this, Paul Priestman, CEO of PriestmanGoode, capsule designer; Javier Moreno, General Manager of AIRTIFICIAL Aerospace & Defense; Andrés de León, COO of Hyperloop TT; Bibop Gresta, Cofounder and Chairman of Hyperloop TT; Dirk Ahlborn, CEO of Hyperloop TT; Rafael Contreras, Cofounder and Chairman of AIRTIFICIAL, took the stage and shared their experiences.

AIRTIFICIAL presents the first real size Hyperloop capsule

On October 2, the first full-size Hyperloop capsule was presented at the AIRTIFICIAL (new name after the merge between Carbures and Inypsa) facility in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz). A structure 32 meters long, fully sensorized to monitor temperature variables, deformation, stress in real time. The engineering works have been developed over the last two years, and the manufacturing period has been extended since last year 2017. Engineers and operators from the Seville, Jerez de la Frontera,  and El Puerto de Santa María centers have participated in the project.

The capsule, first in the world of real size, is built with 85% carbon fiber21,000 hours of engineering have been necessary, it has a double skin of composites for greater safety. Soon, it will travel to Toulousse where Hyperloop Transportation Technologies has the European test center. There, the equipment will be completed with the systems and technologies necessary for the progress of the tests.
