Gowex and Carbures, the companies with most activity among the 23 ones which quotes at the Alternative Stock Market, have been selected in the first edition of the 'European Small and Mid-Cap Awards' among a total amount of 31 european companies.
For this reason, through the General Management of Business and Industry, it has been released the first edition of the 'European Small and Mid-Cap Awards', which are intended to achieve the recognition and international visibility for the most successful small and medium capitalization companies.
There are four award categories, where Gowex is included in the category 'Best new listed company' and Carbures in the 'Most International-minded newcomer'.
To be a finalist company is needed to be nominated by a Stock Market which belongs to the European Union, as well as having a capitalization up to 750 million euros, apart from being a company listed either in a regulated market or Multilateral Negotiation System between the years 2010/2012.
A jury formed by representatives of the media, academic world, business and investment and asset management of the community will decide the winners for each category in an event organized by the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) and European Issuers, and event that will take place in Brussels next 19th november.
