Carbures offers 2 strategic sessions about Industry 4.0 at the ADM - Sevilla 2018

Carbures becomes a point of reference in Industry 4.0. Within the Aerospace & Defense Meetings (ADM) Sevilla 2018, a series of strategic sessions have been held consisting of workshops given by industry leaders. Carbures has been one of the companies invited to participate in two of the sessions held, "Smart Structures in the Aeronautics and Defense sectors" and "Collaborative Robots for Industry 4.0".

In the first session "Smart Structures in Aerospace and Defense Sectors", Carbures explained one of the lines in which the company is already working, the sensorization of different parts and structures of the airplane. The benefits of the development of parts and sensorized structures are that they will allow to reduce the times in which this will remain on land for maintenance work since the sensorized structures will allow knowing the state of these parts in real time.

The second session  was "Collaborative Robots for Industry 4.0". The demand of the travelers is increasing and the companies that work in the aeronautical sector need to adapt to this circumstance and this happens to produce at higher scales and lower costs, through the optimization of the productive processes, which, in many cases, It can be achieved by integrating robots into the production chain. This second workshop was given by Carbures and two giants of the sector, such as ALTRAN, which dealt with the area of sensorization, and CATEC, which addressed augmented reality technologies.

Carbures shared its experience with collaborative robotics, the integration of artificial vision, and the benefits that these types of technology bring to manufacturing in aeronautics. The robotic 4.0 development that Carbures has developed for Airbus at its Tablada plant was recently announced. Likewise, in the automotive sector, the Carbures collaborative robots are also present in Tier 1 of reference in the United States and Japan.

Carbures is a company specialized in engineering, systems, technology and manufacturing of machinery and structures in composite materials. Throughout the history of the Company, this 2018 we turn 19, has invested in innovation and technological development, thanks to this they have developed pioneering technology such as intelligent linear or artificial vision applied to collaborative robots. All these developments are being applied in all three divisions; aerospace, automotive and civil works.
