Building a spirit of solidarity

From Carbures, we have taken actions to help those affected by the earthquake that occurred on September 19 in Mexico. Our campaign to collect food and equipment is helping people who, unfortunately, have been forced to temporarily change their lives with the move to storage centers that were enabled in Mexico City. Healing material, pantry, cleaning supplies, food and water are the items that were collected in our offices.

Likewise, Carbures management is maintaining a continuous contact with the civil protection officers of Mexico City in order to support one of the things we know about best: engineering. We have proposed to carry out urgent analysis on the affected infrastructure, an initiative that would help to better cope with this situation. This initiative can prioritize the repair of the most susceptible and most suffered from the earthquake.

In Mexico, Carbures has 125 employees between the Civil Works unit in Mexico City and the Machinery unit in Querétaro. Fortunately, none of them have been affected. The CEO himself, Borja Martínez-Laredo, transferred on behalf of the entire organization a message of solidarity and support, both to the Carbures staff and to the Mexican people.
