Carbures Aerospace & Defense keeps working to become stronger and stronger in the aerospace sector. During all this week, Carbures’s CEO and directors are at Le Bourget (Paris) at a professional meeting which is relevant worldwide. Carbures is there supported by the Andalusian Government and TEDAE (Spanish defense companies’ association). Paris Air Show 2017 implies multiple meetings with current customers and potential customers.

The Company is determined to strengthen its presence in the aerospace sector by showing its multiple abilities and wide experience in the manufacturing of composite parts, provision of engineering services and development of electronic devices.

We are exhibiting different types of pieces attending to their technology (Hand Lay-up, Resin Infusion) and materials (honeycomb, laminar) diversity, as well as a wide range of electronic devices such as control units, follow-up systems or our well-known MRTT Boom Flight Control Stick, which will be working autonomously.

We have held more than 50 meetings with potential customers and we hope to get relevant collaborations that will allow us to keep growing in all aspects: year production of pieces (we delivered in 2016 a 16% more pieces than the previous year), earnings (we had a 10% growth in 2016) and global presence (our manufacturing plant in China is operating since the beginning of this year).

During this week, Carbures has got institutional backing from the President of Andalusia, Susana Díaz; the State Secretary of Defense, Agustín Conde; and Castilla León's Economic Adviser, Pilar Olmo.

Besides, Carbures has had the chance to meet multiple companies and show them its abilities, strengthen their links and analyse specific business deals. Firms such as Clemessy, VR Technologies, Russian Helicopters, TAI, Soditech, Dassault Aviation, Sabca, Ruag and Sopra have already shown their interest to work with Carbures Aerospace & Defense’s unit lines.
