Carbures’s President checks the installation of the first RMCP production line in China

Carbures’s president, Rafael Contreras, has travelled to China to check the installation of the first RMCP production line sent to that country. This is the first machine sold to Shenyang Hengrui to manufacture carbon fiber parts for the automotive sector. Carbures is a pioneer in the installation of this technology, which uses highly efficient materials for the automotive industry.

Rapid Multi-Injection Compression Process (RMCP) lines of production can reach levels of up to 75,000 pieces per year for cars. It is Carbures’s own patented technology and represents a revolution in the automotive sector: It allows the competitive manufacturing of automotive parts in carbon fiber, replacing the traditional production of metal parts. Carbon fiber is stronger and, at the same time, lighter than metal.

The agreement between Carbures and Hengrui leads to a relationship of partners in the automotive industry in the Asian market. This agreement provides an exclusive license to use the machine for the manufacturing of carbon fiber car parts with RMCP technology and the commitment of Shenyang Hengrui to be the only distributor of Carbures lines of production in most parts of Asia, particularly in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea.

In addition, Shenyang Hengrui has strong ties with SAIC, China´s market leader on the automotive sector and local partner of the Volkswagen and GM automotive groups. Carbures’s President, Rafael Contreras, claims that the agreement with Hengrui is "a very important gateway not only in China (one of the leading car manufacturers in the world) but also throughout the Asian market ".

Thus, carbon fiber begins its takeoff in China, a market with very high business figures and a big future coming ahead.
