Carbures flies high with Airbus’ A320NEO

Carbures attended Friday to a high-flying act of Airbus: the official signing event of the manufacturing process of the A320NEO, currently considered one of Airbus flagship airplanes. The aerospace giant invited Carbures to the signing of the manufacturing contract of the A320NEO between Aircelle, the world's leading manufacturer of nacelles for engines and turbines, and the Bay of Cadiz Center (CBC).

The A320NEO manufacturing process involves the highest historical delivery rate of composite airplane parts for Carbures, therefore the company has redesigned its plant in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz, Spain) to specifically tailor it to the production specifications of parts for this airplane model.

Carbures stands out as a strategic parts manufacturer in composite for Airbus, among others for the A320, A350 and A380 models, and works hard to keep providing Airbus with a service of excellence.

The A320NEO aircraft currently flies as Airbus most demanded plane by airlines. This model carries more composite parts than its predecessors and a more powerful engine but more efficient (NEO -New Engine Option-), which consumes 15 percent less and reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

The manufacturing process of this new aircraft requires a bigger effort from Airbus itself and its suppliers. The CEO of Aircelle thanked those attending the signing event for the commitment and dedications to making this project a success in the aerospace industry.

He also stressed the excellence of all the companies that build up the program. From Carbures, we want to thank the invitation to the event and recognition for our efforts. We will continue working to keep growing.
