Carbures is in the pole position because has its own technology that enables the manufacture of carbon fiber car parts in cycles of three to six minutes per piece, the same time as that used for metal.And the metal is four times heavier and less resistant than 3.5 times the carbon fiber. That is, carbon car pollutes less, is more efficient and safer than metal interior.
The lack of technology was the last barrier preventing the sector producing cars in large quantities in composites. Our technology allows to manufacture up to 75,000 units a year of a piece of car for every production line. This industrial technology model is being replicated in Shanghai, China, for a Chinese customer, Shenyang Hengrui, who has bought seven manufacturing linears.
In the automotive industry and the manufacturing process of carbon fiber pieces, a production of 30,000 units per line of robots is considered as a long series. Short one would be that of 5,000 pieces. The Company forecasts that long series can fluctuate between 30,000/50,000 units per year to 200,000. Normally structural pieces are the same in the different models that large car manufacturing Groups, owners of different brands, manufacture, so the production can get increase to 400,000 or 500,000 pieces per year.
