This morning may 28th has taken place in Seville the official presentation of the smart shinguards made by Carbures as a result of being official technological supplier for the Spanish Football Asociation (RFEF). This shinguards has been produced thanks to our technological capacity, and they will be very useful not only to protect the players physical health, but also to retrieve significant data for the players in the forthcoming Brasil Fifa World Cup.

The event has been held in the special area called ¨Espacio España¨, created due to the next friendly matches that the Spanish National Team are going to play. To the presentation    have attended Rafael Contreras,CEO of Carbures, Jorge Carretero, on behalf of the RFEF and María del Mar Sánchez, Deputy Mayor of the City Council of Seville.

The smart shinguards, apart from being lighter and stronger than the regular ones because of the of carbon fiber, transmit information about each player, thanks to the sensors which are incorporated and that allow to obtain data regarding received impacts or linked to the player performance in real time.

By using this sensors, it is possible to generate an impact map involving every single player, a fact that allows to create tailor-made shinguards and having information about shooting speed or the meters run by the players during the match.

This technology comes from the aviation industry, where Carbures have a strong know-how, and it is called Shock Absorbing System (SAS), a technology that disperses the shock energy, being shared throughout the whole shinguard.
