CARBURES vuelve a ser noticia en los medios por la reciente adquisición de la división de ingeniería ferroviaria de la firma MP Productividad , que mantiene la línea de crecimiento sostenido y acelerado que está posicionando a la compañía como referencia en la fabricación de estructuras de fibra de carbono en los sectores relacionados con el transporte, como es el caso de la aeronáutica, la automoción y el transporte ferroviario.
CARBURES is on the news again due to its last acquisition, this time involving MP Productividad railway engineering division, a fact which maintain the continuous and accelerated growth pace, positioning itself as a reference regarding the production of carbon fiber structures for aeronautics, automotive an railway sector.
CARBURES acquires MP Productividad to tackle railway sector.
CARBURES has acquired the engineering activity line for railways of the company MP Productividad, with the aim of introducing carbon fiber on trains construction.According the Cadiz based company, it has with a project portfolio valued in four million euros in order to produce composites structures in Turkey, Brazil an Poland.
Rafael Contreras, CEO of CARBURES, stated that the introduction in the sector is a proof of evidence of its ¨strong commitment¨ so to address its business plan and activity development in all sector related with mobility and transport.
¨This operation responds to the roadmap created by the company with the goal of keeping on growing both in our activity development and our internationalization¨, Contreras explained. With the railways activity of MP productividad acquisition, CARBURES obtains the know-how of railway engineering needed for the production of composites structures for trains, trams and subways, as well as it has the industrial capacity in its seven production centers, four of them located in Spain, two in the USA and one more in China.
CARBURES foresees that in the next two or three years the railway unit has an annual growth over 25%, reaching in 2016 a turnover of more than 10 million euros, a figure that will be double when international markets supply gets started.
Finally, CARBURES has communicated that its new production plant located in El Burgo de Osma (Soria-Spain) will be operating before the end of the current year, specialized in pieces for automotive sector. To the committed order backlog from the aeronautic sector until 2020 it is added the forecast of new significant incomes linked mainly with automotive sector before the end of this year, which activity will register an annual growth rate of 204,9% from this year to 2016, with a sales forecast of 31,8 millions in three years time.
These figures show a quite bigger growth for the two next years, for the 2016-2018 period, when the company foresees projects valued in 180 million euros.
